She had escaped the wolves once. Her Hero had saved her. But not this time, no-one was coming and she knew it. She watched his blood streaming away from him in the rain. He had sacrificed everything to save someone he didn't even know.

TogetherHer laughter rippled with the stream nearby. Long grass plucked at the hem of her dress as she ran, hands outstretched. Lavender was in the air. She caught sight of him amongst the trees to her left. Her laughter was gushing as he moved to meet her. He swept her into his arms as the amber light of the falling sun framed them. Her eyes smiled, sea green, a strong hand brushing a strand of strawberry blonde hair out of her face. She held his face in her hands as they embraced.
